RECIPE

RECIPE

A swiss grains’spirit and nine botanicals selected in Switzerland and from some of the best world’s locations give the LVX Gin its distinctive floral and spicy personality. The nose is flagrant, bright and aromatic.

On the palate, angelica and juniper flavours first stand out, balanced by hints of elderflowers that provide this Gin with a refined mouthfeel.

The final is long and delicately peppery, as a tribute to its typical London Dry Gin distillation process.

PRODUCTION

The making of the LVX Gin is handcrafted. Part of the magic of this Gin lies in the 1945 copper still we use. Thanks to the steaming process, and to the 4 levels of distillation, the result is exceptional… and some say a little mysterious. Every botanical we have selected around the planet is macerated separately in the still.

From the distillation, right through the bottling and labelling -where each bottle is manually numbered-, the LVX Gin is elaborated with preciseness and passion by a team of audacious epicureans.

The distillation in small batches is a guaranty of the persistent quality of the LVX Gin.

THE TEAM

THE TEAM

Quentin Verne / Founder

Quentin is the founder, and distiller of the LVX Gin. It is during his studies at Manchester University that his passion for gins begins. Back in Geneva, the decision is taken to elaborate a “Geneva Dry Gin”, helped by his mentors René Wanner and Alex Paccot, the elite of the region’s distillers. Having selected the best berries and finest flowers, he spends days and nights at the distillery to finally create the original LVX Gin’s recipe.
He will talk to you about his gin for hours… if you want to stop him, just ask him for his recipe’s secrets.

Jérôme Gautier / Alpha Geek
Jérôme is an enthusiast for technology, art and communication. After graduating from Universität der Künste in Berlin he joins the LVX team, bringing his expertise to the brand. Always eager for new technologic experimentations, he worked extensively on the visuals of the LVX brand, helped by his 4 computers and 32 external hard drives. Ctrl+Z is his favourite combo.
Frédéric Verne / Logistics
After graduating from Geneva Ecole d’Horlogerie, Frédéric worked for several years in the Joux valley and in Geneva. Endowed since then with a flawless concentration.
Alex Paccot / Distiller
Master distiller and mentor, Féchy Distillery.
René Wanner / Distiller
Master still and mentor, Saconnex-d’Arve Distillery.
